I am offering half hour and hour long lessons for trombonists and euphonium players of all ages and skill levels. Lessons that take place in person are currently being offered in the Davis, California region and surrounding areas of Sacramento. (Sacramento, Elk Grove, Woodland, Dixon, Vacaville, and Fairfield) Lessons that take place in person must follow Covid-19 Guidelines recommended by the CDC and the state of California. (Distance of 10 ft while playing, distance of 6ft while not playing. Masks required when not playing. Bell covers required at all times.) Vaccination is strongly encouraged. Students who elect not to take the vaccine and still wish to take lessons in person must be tested for Covid-19 prior to attending the lesson.
Students in similar age groups will be encouraged to participate in a bi-weekly “studio class” in addition to their lessons. Depending on interest and age groups, there will be a studio for elementary age students, middle school students, high school students, and college/ beyond. The purpose of these studio classes is for my students to meet other peers they may not know, listen to them play, give each other pedagogical advice, and prepare for a potential education track/ career in music if that is what they are interested in. Lessons are also offered over zoom or skype to anybody outside the Sacramento, CA area. Requirements for zoom/ skype lessons include an internet connection, webcam (or device with a camera), and a microphone. (Microphones built into devices such as laptops work fine.)
- Half Hour Zoom/ Skype Lessons- $15 per lesson, $45 for 6 lessons paid up front, $90 for 10 lessons paid up front
- Half hour in person lessons- $20 per lesson, $65 for 6 lessons paid up front, $130 for 10 lessons paid up front
- Hour zoom/skype lessons- $30 per lesson, $100 for 6 lessons paid up front, $170 paid for 10 lessons up front
- Hour in person lessons- $40 per lesson, $130 for 6 lessons paid up front, $235 paid for 10 lessons up front
