CNY’s First All-Women Trombone Choir
The Syracuse Sirens are a community trombone choir in Central New York, created by women, for women. Female trombonists tend to learn, practice, perform, and teach in a heavily male-dominated field. The Syracuse Sirens was created by Kristen Collins with the help of Emily Borden to uplift and celebrate the voices of women in the field of trombone.
